Wall Shelf
We create designs that grow and evolve, serving as a timeless piece in your home. The Wall Shelf is no exception. “This shelf is sized just right for essentials in the nursery to toddler treasures, and beyond,” co-founders Ali and Aneta say about the Wall Shelf. “It transitions seamlessly into a decorative shelf an older child can use.”
This wall shelf is artfully designed to pair with the Montessori bookshelf, Toy Organizer, and Convertible Helper Tower. Rounded edges and natural wood provide the perfect slate to hold your child’s favorite memories and adventures.
When can you expect it? Our manufacturers are now crafting the Wall Shelf, and we can’t wait to share it with you later this year.

From nursery shelf to big kid storage
Our Wall Shelf is here for every stage of your child’s life. “We use ours as a nursery shelf for bits and bobs we don’t want in baby’s reach, like a clock, a basket with hats & socks, and grooming tools. As she grows, I can see this shelf transition as a decorative shelf for her things; toys or books on rotation, a lamp, or a memory box,” Piccalio co-founder Aneta shared.

The Wall Shelf, Montessori style
Help your child build their sense of self by using the Wall Shelf the Montessori way. When your child is old enough, hang the shelf within their reach. Your child can display their favorite knick-knacks, photos, rock collections, and more on the shelf.
Frequently Asked Questions
A nursery shelf should be hung where parents can comfortably see and reach items. In general, this is about eye-level, or about 4 to 5 feet from the ground. However, as your child grows, you may consider hanging a well-secured Wall Shelf lower so they can easily access their items. According to the Montessori method, children should have access to items at eye level. That said, parents should use their judgment and prioritize safety by keeping dangerous items out of reach of children and securing furniture.
