DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the Montessori method, the front-facing bookshelf features three levels. Plus, you can store additional books or toys on the shelves on the backside. Rotate books every few weeks to build your child’s interest in reading. The non-toxic Play Mat features a waterproof cover and organic cotton top cover for safe reading, tummy time, and play.

Play Mat
- Material - OEKO-TEX® natural latex foam (AKA rubber trees!) and 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton.
- Waterproof cover contains 100% cotton layers + a TPU barrier.
- No questionable waterproofing materials like vinyl/PVC, phthalates, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) or butane rubber.
- Make sure you and your baby do not have severe allergies to latex foam. Use it only for playtime - not intended for sleep.
- Arrives in a cotton tote for portable play.

We are deeply passionate about the meticulous process involved in crafting our products and the materials we use. Our Play Mats do not use vinyl, phthalates, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), polyurethane foam, EVA, formamide, and other chemicals commonly found in baby mats. We are 100% committed to chemical safety.
Without overlapping, the bookshelf accommodates approximately 10 to 12 books. The shelves are deep, meaning you can stack several books to fit more. Plus, there’s storage space in the back where you can store more books.
Montessori bookshelves feature a simple, beautiful design and promote independence. For young children, front-facing bookshelves are ideal, as children can look at the covers of the books and pick out the books they’d like to read.
Rotating the books on your Montessori bookshelf every few weeks makes your reading corner engaging for your little one. Try adding sets of books about the season, holidays, dinosaurs, butterflies, or another topic of interest!

Very happy with this purchase. I love that it’s not filled with a bunch of synthetic materials and the cover is really nice. We use it daily for play time, tummy time, and when I need to put the baby down for a moment. We especially love that it comes with a bag and we can put it away when not in use since we live in a small apartment and have a dog.

The play mat is super comfortable. My baby is able to roll all around on it. She's starting to learn how to sit up and sometimes tips over on the mat with no issue.
She occasionally rolls off the mat onto the regular carpet and this startles her. So keep an eye on your little to help them avoid this!

Play mat is the perfect size- not too big or small. Like that two covers are washable. Most importantly, the fabric is organic.
