Take a peek at Brella’s outdoor play areas and you’ll see children conquering Piccalio’s Pikler Triangle. While one child slides down, another waits their turn to climb the rungs, building coordination and muscle as they go.

Brella is an early childhood education center providing high-quality programs to children 3 months to 6 years old. Since 2022, Piccalio has gifted toys and furniture to Brella classrooms. It’s been such a success that we’re now expanding our school gifting program. Read on to learn all about it and how you can apply for your child’s school or daycare program to be considered.

Piccalio and Brella: Creating Engaging Classrooms

Brella’s programs incorporate active play to boost engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Piccalio’s gifted products offer the ideal complement to this approach. Every day, Brella students get the chance to navigate the Stepping Stones, relax on the Play Mat, practice their balance on the Balance Beam, and more. These hands-on experiences boost student confidence, build skills, and inspire a love of learning.

Another popular gifted product is the Pikler Triangle Set. Young children have a natural urge to move their bodies. Through age-appropriate risky play on the climber, children grow physically and mentally. Plus, they get their wiggles out in a safe, yet fun and exciting manner.

"Our goal at Brella is to foster curiosity and a love for learning in every child. Piccalio's thoughtfully designed products have significantly enhanced our classrooms and children's experiences. We’re grateful for Piccalio's ongoing support." says Andrea Cinque, Director of Marketing at Brella.

Piccalio for Infant Classrooms

Brella cares for children as young as 3 months old. How do the youngest students enjoy Piccalio products? The most popular items in these classrooms are the Play Mat and Pikler Triangle, Infant Teacher Claudia Vazquez says.

“Our Play Mat has become the infants' favorite cozy corner. We also introduce them to the Pikler Climber Sets, and they love to use their gross motor skills to stand, pull up, and explore together," Vazquez explains.

The Pikler Triangle Set supports young infants as they learn to walk. Similarly, the Play Mat offers an ideal space for tummy time, an essential activity for infants.

Piccalio for Preschool Classrooms

In Brella preschool classrooms, Piccalio products also support learning. A teacher at Brella’s Playa Vista location explained how their class used the Stepping Stones.

“Last week our class was learning about transportation vehicles. We played a stoplight bean bag toss game. The children tossed bean bags on the red, yellow, and green Piccalio stepping stones. The students really enjoyed the activity and practiced throwing while strengthening their fine and gross motor skills,” she said.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Brella preschool students also love climbing the Pikler Triangle Set, walking the Balance Beam, and more.

Introducing Piccalio At School

Piccalio is committed to helping young children reach their full potential. That’s why we are expanding our school gifting program.

Every year, we are gifting Piccalio products to a select number of early childhood education programs. Schools, preschools, daycares, and education facilities are invited to apply. Visit Piccalio At School to learn more, see the products included in the program, and apply. We’re so excited to reach more children and have a positive impact on their education experience.
