• Wreath painting. Paint a handprint wreath using paper and tempera paints. Paint your child's hand green and show them how to make a circle using their handprints. After it dries, your little one can add berries and a bow with red paint.
• Holiday card. Make a holiday or Christmas card and send it to a friend or family member.
• Homemade stocking. Sew a felt stocking. Or, add decorations to a felt stocking with glue.
• Paper chains. Make a red and green paper chain to hang in a doorway.

• Holiday placemats. Invite your child to create a special placemat to use during the holiday season. Have your child choose a piece of construction paper to decorate with holiday-themed pictures.
