Foldable Toddler Tower

A Toddler Tower is a hybrid stool and ladder that offers a stable surface on which toddlers can safely reach kitchen counters. Featuring a secure railing around the waist area, toddler towers help prevent falls while providing them the independence they crave.

Most importantly, a Toddler Tower brings toddlers and young children up to where the action is happening in the kitchen. That way, instead of grabbing your legs or standing on their tippy-toes, they can actually participate. Aligned with the Montessori philosophy, toddler towers make it easy for young children to build skills while stirring, chopping, pouring, washing dishes, and more! Toddler towers are also ideal for use in the bathroom and other areas around the house.

A Toddler Tower is for children ages 18 months through 6 years. To safely use a Toddler Tower, your little one should be able to stand up independently. Some children may be ready younger than 18 months, while others may be ready after they are 18 months old.

The Toddler Tower is made from FSC Certified (sustainably harvested) Birch plywood and solid Pine. We use a 0-VOC water-based finish that is formaldehyde and lead free.

Yes, Toddler Towers must meet safety standards that ensure the safety of materials and design. Piccalio’s Toddler Towers conform to ASTM F963, U.S. CPSC, and California Prop 65. Plus, they are Greenguard Gold and Intertek certified. These standards test for a range of structural safety standards, as well as protect indoor air quality by testing for 10,000+ pollutants and substances. While both are equally sturdy and safe, there are some differences between these two towers. While the Convertible Toddler Tower has the option to convert into a table and chair, the Foldable Toddler Tower folds for easy storage. Another feature of the Foldable Toddler Tower is an adjustable standing platform (3 height options), so you can change the height as your child grows. On the other hand, the Convertible Toddler Tower has an adjustable step (3 height options), which is used as a seat when the tower converts into a table.

The Safety Net is a Toddler Tower accessory that many families find helpful for the first months of use. It can create a protective barrier while your little one is getting familiar with the Toddler Tower and gaining confidence.

Please note, if your child does not stand without wobbling or cannot stand unaided, we recommend waiting to use the Toddler Tower until your child is fully stable and can stand unsupported.

The Piccalio Toddler Tower has a weight limit of up to 175 lbs (80 kg). While designed primarily for children aged 18 months to 6 years, the tower is constructed from high-quality, FSC-certified birch plywood and solid pine, making it sturdy enough to occasionally serve as a step stool for adults in the kitchen.
