Convertible Helper Tower®

A Helper Tower® is a hybrid stool and ladder that offers a stable surface on which toddlers can safely reach kitchen counters. Featuring a secure railing around the waist area, toddler towers help prevent falls while providing them the independence they crave.

Most importantly, a Helper Tower® brings toddlers and young children up to where the action is happening in the kitchen. That way, instead of grabbing your legs or standing on their tippy-toes, they can actually participate. Aligned with the Montessori philosophy, toddler towers make it easy for young children to build skills while stirring, chopping, pouring, washing dishes, and more! Toddler towers are also ideal for use in the bathroom and other areas around the house.

A Helper Tower® is for children ages 18 months through 6 years. To safely use a Helper Tower, your little one should be able to stand up independently. Some children may be ready younger than 18 months, while others may be ready after they are 18 months old.

Toddler towers are ideal for young children who need a kitchen stool to safely access kitchen counters or the bathroom sink. The railing around the waist area adds security for wiggly toddlers.

Your child may be ready to stop using a toddler tower when they can easily reach the counters on their own, or they outgrow their Helper Tower. The Convertible Helper Tower has a weight limit of up to 175 lbs (80 kg).

Helper Towers are worth it for many families because they help young children become more independent. Instead of fussing while you make a meal, your toddler can chop, stir, wash dishes, and more! A Helper Tower can also help your child reach the bathroom sink or get a book down from a high shelf.

Helper Towers must meet safety standards that ensure the safety of materials and design. Piccalio’s Helper Towers conform to ASTM F963, U.S. CPSC, and California Prop 65. Plus, they are Greenguard Gold and Intertek certified. These standards test for a range of structural safety standards, as well as protect indoor air quality by testing for 10,000+ pollutants and substances.

Although helper towers are safe, parents should always supervise their children while using them. To prevent toddlers from using the Piccalio Convertible Helper Tower unsupervised, parents can use the 2-in-1 function to turn the tower into a table and chair.

While both are equally sturdy and safe, there are some differences between these two towers. While the Convertible Helper Tower has the option to convert into a table and chair, the Foldable Helper Tower folds for easy storage. Another feature of the Foldable Helper Tower is an adjustable standing platform (3 height options), so you can change the height as your child grows. On the other hand, the Convertible Helper Tower has an adjustable step (3 height options), which is used as a seat when the tower converts into a table.

The Safety Net is a Helper Tower accessory that many families find helpful for the first months of use. It can create a protective barrier while your little one is getting familiar with the Helper Tower and gaining confidence.

The Helper Tower® is made from FSC Certified (sustainably harvested) Birch plywood and solid Pine. We use a 0-VOC water-based finish that is formaldehyde and lead free.

The Convertible Helper Tower® is a 2-in-1 toddler tower, functioning as both a kitchen tower and a toddler table and chair. To transform your tower, simply unlock the metal locks on the sides of the tower and pull the top half down. Then, lock the metal locks at the bottom of the table and bench for safety. You can return it to the tower position by following these steps in reverse.
